3 Years of hands-on experience in a similar role preferably in an electro-mechanical products trading environment

Job Description

  • Responsible for handling customers in a professional manner by responding to their queries and ensure customer satisfaction. Proactively support BMD sales initiatives to achieve branch sales targets.
  • Respond to customer queries about products, prices, availability and credit terms in a professional manner.
  • Handle counter sales transactions including invoicing, cash and credit sales and achieve targets.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction at all times and improve relationship with new and existing customers.
  • Resolve customer complaints regarding sales and service.
  • Liaise with Warehousing and Logistics team to ensure that delivery commitments are achieved on time.
  • Proactively communicate with customers about any expected delivery delays.
  • Create a positive and cheerful attitude in the counter while dealing with customers and colleagues.
  • Generate quotations from the automated system Focus, in line with BMD sales and credit policy. Closely follow-up quotations to secure sales.

Language skills

  • Good communication skills in English and Hindi.

  • Good in MS Office, internet and emails.
  • Knowledge an ERP system desirable
